Q: What ages do you serve?
A:We serve children 18 months - 5 years old. We have three classrooms: Toddlers (18 months - 2.5 years old), Preschool (2.5 - 3.5 years old), and Pre-K (3.5 - 5 years old)

Q: Do children need to be potty trained?
A: Children do not need to be potty trained in our Toddler and Preschool classrooms (ages 1.5 -3.5 yrs). Children in our Pre-K classroom (3.5 - 5 yrs) do need to be out of diapers. We will assist with potty training when families are ready to start their diaper-free journey. We do not charge any extra fees for diapering.

Q: What is your general philosophy?
A: We follow a play-based philosophy, as we believe play drives learning, is self-motivating, and instills a sense of confidence in children. We choose themes for each month of the year, which helps to guide our play, art, music, and activity choices, but we will also take a deeper dive into subjects that children express an interest in. We incorporate plenty of art and sensory into our activities - children can and will get messy in school!

Q: Do you serve meals?
A: We serve morning and afternoon snack. Parents pack lunch. For our Toddler and Preschool classes, we can refrigerate and warm up lunches as needed.

Q: Do you offer enrichment activities?
A: We partner with Minibop Music for regular enrichment activities. We also plan special visitors whenever possible, like the fire department, public transit, public library, musicians, authors, etc.

Q: What is your approach to discipline?
A: We approach discipline in two ways - talking through challenging moments, and redirection when appropriate. We help with verbalizing feelings and talking through a solution to an issue between two children. We also offer a quiet area for kids to cool off if needed.

Q: What are your hours?
A: We are open Monday - Friday from 7:45am - 6:00pm. Children can be dropped off from 7:45 - 9:30am, and can be picked up between 2:30 - 6pm.

Q: Are you open year-round?
A: Yes, we are open year round. We close for a winter vacation, spring break, and one week in July for professional development.
